Every garments has different fabric requirements which can vary depending on the size you indent to cut as well as the width of the fabric itself. Please see below the requirements for our classes or watch out for emails prior to your class, if you booked one of our one-off dressmaking workshops.

Intro to Jersey

We will be using the Agnes Top by Tilly & the Buttons or the Lark Tee from Grainline Studio. Depending on your size and fabric width, the following fabric is required:

Fabric width 1.15m, you will need 1.5m for sizes 1-5

Fabric width 1.15m, you will need 2.3m for sizes 6-8

Fabric width 1.4m, you will need 1.5m (all sizes)

For the Lark Tee, if you are choosing the long sleeves and your fabric is only 1.15m wide, then you will need 2.5m of fabric.
